Programme
Last concert
Our summer 2008 concert was held on Saturday 10th May 2008 at St. Andrew's Church, Junction Road, Burgess Hill. The programme consisted of:
- Rodrigo — Concierto de Aranjuez (guitar concerto)
Soloist: Christopher Evesham - Rachmaninoff — Symphony No. 2 in E minor
- Evans — Emuria and the Unicorn Ballet Suite
(This was the World Premiere of this orchestral arrangement, specially written for the BHSO)
Next concert
Our next concert will be on Saturday 15th November 2008, at St Andrew's Church, Junction Road, Burgess Hill. The programme celebrates both our capital city and the Vaughan Williams anniversary. It will consist of:
- Eric Coates — London Suite, "London Every Day"
- Haydn — Symphony no 104 in D major ("London")
- Vaughan Williams — A London Symphony
Tickets will be priced at £10.00 (concessions £8.00). They will be available about one month before the concert, by calling in person at the Burgess Hill Town Council Help Point, Church Walk, Burgess Hill. (If getting to the Help Point is a problem, remember that by becoming a Patron you can in future have your tickets posted to you!)
There will be tickets (possibly restricted view) available on the door, or you can call 01825 723448 in advance to reserve tickets for collection on the door.
