Open Rehearsal

Our recent Open Rehearsal was a great success.  One participant commented:

“I thoroughly enjoyed my opportunity to experience the orchestra practice, thank you to all – it was wonderful to be amongst the musicians and I was truly so impressed with whole evening.  It was an huge learning curve to understand the conductor who actually is normally a person who we (audience) see more of his back than what he is doing – I have great respect for this now.  Each time he had a few bars played and then repeated you could hear the difference quite significantly.

I loved the music and was so impressed with all the musicians I talked to, questioned, stared at – especially the clarinettists, bassoon and French horn player – so friendly and obviously enjoying the evening too – so many smiling faces – it was wonderful and what a great job!

I would love to attend the community orchestra and learn more about being a patron.”
